Their Unlimited-Luxury package means you can enjoy meals and snacks at 8 delicious gourmet restaurants and drinks in 7 bars, including 2 pool bars and a swim-up bar.

With direct beach access, guests can enjoy water activities like snorkeling, kayaking, and swimming, while evenings offer live shows, parties, and movie nights. There are also cooking and cocktail-making classes and Spanish lessons offered during the day for no extra charge.

Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica

Set on the tip of Peninsula Papagayo with beautiful beaches on either side, the Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica offers guests a relaxing and rejuvenating experience amid a beautiful and remote tropical location.

The region is populated chiefly by resorts and features beaches, watersports, and several national parks. Quiet and set among nature, this Costa Rica all inclusive resort offers guests a wide range of activities including water sports, hiking, zip lining, wildlife watching, and horseback riding

Of the resort’s three pools, the smallest one is especially well-suited for couples who will love the serenity and the view of Playa Virador. The resort’s stunning 18-hole golf course, located right on the resort grounds, was designed by Arnold Palmer and overlooks the wild Pacific Ocean on one side and the Costa Rican jungle on the other.

Drake Bay Getaway Resort

At Drake Bay Getaway Resort, guests will enjoy 3 delicious meals per day, unlimited specialty coffee and smoothies, plus free transport to and from the airport and free laundry services with every honeymoon package. You’ll also get two complimentary guided tours of Corcovado National Park and Cano Island Biological Reserve. Guests have a choice of reserving a 3, 4, or 5-night package.

There are only 5 beautiful cabins to choose from, spaced out atop towering green hills, each one offering a totally unique and breathtaking view. The resort’s small size enables staff to provide a more personalized experience, like their individually designed menus that change daily and are based on your personal tastes and preferences.

Alcoholic drinks are not included in any of Drake Bay’s honeymoon packages. This resort is geared toward couples who are looking to be surrounded by nature and experience the flavor and culture of Costa Rica. In addition to two complimentary nature tours, Drake Bay offers a wide variety of outdoor excursions to waterfalls, islands, and mangroves, plus scuba and sport fishing, sunset boat rides, and a tour of the bay at night.

Hotel Bosque del Mar

Located on the shore of Playa Hermosa, Hotel Bosque del Mar is a modern boutique-style resort with a full-service spa, elegant suites that feature garden or ocean views, and close proximity to several national parks and the eclectic village of El Coco.

Its decor is equal parts beach loft and jungle treehouse with an elegant twist. The penthouse suites feature sharp dark-wood accents against a canvas of crisp white walls and spacious terraces overlooking the sea.

Their 4-night honeymoon package includes accommodation in an oceanfront suite, a tour of the nearby Palo Verde National Park, a jet ski tour of the bay, a relaxing couples massage, and all meals including a romantic candlelit dinner. The resort’s on-site restaurant, Niromi, spans two floors and showcases the flavors of Costa Rica blended with international favorites. Enjoy the sea breeze and a soundtrack of tropical birds from the open-air dining room until 10 pm, or take advantage of 24-hour room service.

Villa Sol

This gorgeous Costa Rica all inclusive resort overlooks the sea from its perch on a cliff above the small beach town of Playa Hermosa. It has some of the best views on the island, but there is no direct beach access. Guests can either walk down to the beach (one of the most pristine in Costa Rica and well worth the effort) or arrange a 5-minute drive. Playas del Coco, a tourist favorite, is also a short drive away, roughly 15 minutes.

All-inclusive packages at Villa Sol cover unlimited meals and snacks at Bahia, a buffet restaurant serving local and international dishes, beer and spirits, and a full menu of handcrafted cocktails, plus fun daily indoor and outdoor activities for all ages. At night, head to the Wet Bar and dance under the stars.

Accommodations at Villa Sol include hotel rooms and large villas. The villas are gorgeous and feature some amazing views, but they are further away and located on a steep hill, so getting to and from there can be a challenge if you have mobility issues. However, they’re perfect for couples who are looking for a private, intimate escape.

Azura Beach Resort

Azura Beach Resort is an adults-only Costa Rica all-inclusive resort located in Guanacaste in the town of Samara, just a few minutes from Samara Beach, one of the safest and cleanest in Costa Rica. Other nearby attractions include the Wener Sauter Bio Reserve, Belen Waterfall, and Barrigona Beach.

During your all-inclusive stay at Azura Beach Resort, you’ll have access to a 24-hour fitness center, 2 large pools, and unlimited meals, snacks, and drinks at 3 restaurants and 3 bars. For an extra cost, you can indulge at Morpho’s Spa, book a private tour, or go fishing.

The honeymoon suite at Azura features a large living room, a massive soaking tub, and a private balcony that overlooks the gardens and the beach. Some rooms come with swim-up entrances and plunge pools. There are only 75 guestrooms at Azura, meaning couples that are looking for a quiet getaway can find it here.

Barefoot Vacation Villas

Barefoot Vacation Villas consists of 3 separate, ultra-luxurious beach villas. With each building fully staffed, couples can enjoy the convenience of an all-inclusive resort with the privacy of a remote beach hut.

Perfect for a wedding party, Villa Estrella del Mar and Villa Ocotal each have 8 bedrooms, a private pool, a fitness room, and an in-house private chef who will prepare 3 fresh meals a day plus an afternoon snack. Unlimited drinks are also included. Guests can also upgrade their all-inclusive package to include spa services, a casino night, pool parties, and live music.

A wide range of activities are available for an added cost and can be arranged a day in advance. Spa services are surprisingly affordable and most treatments are between $35-$60. Resort staff can also book a day of golfing at nearby golf resorts, fishing tours, scuba diving, sightseeing, ziplining, water rafting, and more.

Planet Hollywood Costa Rica

There’s something for everyone at Planet Hollywood, a large Costa Rica all-inclusive resort located in Papagayo. The resort features 2 pools with swim-up bars, a hot tub, watersport equipment rentals, a rooftop firepit, and a wide range of daily and nightly events.

Six restaurants serve everything from fine dining to pub grub while 3 bars offer unlimited cocktails, beer and wine. You can get your caffeine fix plus some delicious fresh pastries all day long at Fuel Coffee Co.

With a STAR Class upgrade you’ll enjoy plenty of extra amenities and services like access to a private pool with its own swim-up bar, top-shelf liquor at The Green Room Lounge, and even a pillow menu.

Suites are elegant and come with high-end bath products and Planet Hollywood’s signature PHabulous Bed mattresses. Choose either a garden or beachfront view from your private balcony. For even more opulence, upgrade to a Star Class Director’s Suite which comes with a separate bedroom, walk-in closet, and a Jacuzzi.

The Westin Reserva Conchal Golf Resort & Spa

Part of the Marriott Bonvoy Collection, The Westin Reserva Conchal is a huge 2400-acre resort with 406 guest rooms and villas, a golf course, tennis courts, a pool, easy beach access, and a heavenly spa. Known for its outstanding top-tier service, The Westin is the perfect place to unwind with or without the kids.

While this is a family-friendly location, couples looking for peace and quiet can upgrade to the Royal Beach Club, an adults-only area that also comes with exclusive services and amenities like lounge and restaurant access, a quieter private pool area with Bali beds, and larger suites.

There are a total of 14 bars and restaurants at this property, some of which are exclusively for Beach Club members. Reservations need to be made for dinner and, according to reviews, spots fill up quickly so it’s best to book early. Room service is also available 24 hours a day and there are lots of off-site dining options nearby.

As far as activities go, The Westin is a great location for couples looking to do more than sit by the pool. From coffee tasting and sangria making to bike tours and yoga classes, there are activities taking place from morning till night. For an added cost, Jet ski rentals and sunset cruises can also be arranged.

Bosque Del Cabo Rainforest Lodge

For a romantic honeymoon that’s slightly off the beaten path, Bosque del Cabo Rainforest Lodge provides cozy and elegant accommodation in the heart of the rainforest plus unrivaled ocean views free of crowds.

Set on over 750 acres, accommodations consist of 8 private, spacious bungalows with outdoor showers and bathtubs surrounded by a tropical garden. Large wrap-around porches provide 360-degree views of the property. Hiking trailheads can be found throughout the resort grounds, and there is a small pool near the main lounge. During the day, staff can arrange all kinds of activities for an extra cost.

Three homemade meals per day and snacks, coffee, and tea are included with your stay. Lunches can be packed and taken along for excursions and tours, while dinner is served buffet style in a large and airy candlelit dining room. However, Bosque del Cabo does not have an alcoholic drinks package, so if you want to drink it will cost extra.

Villa Buena Onda

Villa Buena Onda’s massive 10,000-square-foot property is home to just seven guestrooms, giving visitors plenty of space to enjoy each other’s company without the overwhelming crowds typical of larger all-inclusive resorts in Costa Rica.

The common areas feature modern sculptures and art and contemporary furniture. The semi-outdoor dining area consists of intimate tables spaced apart so couples can enjoy a romantic dinner in the fresh evening air. Overlooking the ocean there is a two-tiered infinity pool in the center of the courtyard with a swim-up bar, while the second floor terrace is a wide open space with room for lounging, yoga, or taking in a spa treatment.

The concierge can make arrangements for activities off-site and there is a daily free shuttle to Playa del Coco, the nearest beach. The resort grounds are quiet and geared toward couples who want to reconnect and relax, so there isn’t much activity going on throughout the day. However, the resort’s location makes for easy day trips to nearby beaches, towns, and parks.

Four of the resort’s rooms feature ocean views, while the remaining showcase the pool and garden. All feature an outdoor area, but the second floor ocean-view rooms offer the most space and privacy. The Master Suite also comes with a private jacuzzi.

Los Suenos Marriott Ocean & Golf Resort

Party-lovers will flock to Los Suenos Marriott because of its close proximity (15 minutes by car) to Jaco, a small beach town known for its laid-back party atmosphere. The resort grounds feature a massive 18-hole golf course, an intricate pool connected by bridges, a casino, and a 24-hour fitness center with free instructor-led classes.

Los Suenos sits on Playa Herradura. Its rocky shores are not exactly ideal for lounging, but the water is calm and the scenery is breathtaking. Couples looking for a white sand beach can drive 30 minutes to Playa Hermosa for surfing or check out Manuel Antonio National Park, a diverse ecosystem that can be reached in under an hour and is home to some of the country’s nicest beaches.

Spanish influence can be found throughout the resort, from the burnt-orange exterior to the Latin-esque floor tiles in each of the 200+ guestrooms. The Premium Deluxe Ocean View Room comes with a large furnished balcony and a comfy  king-size bed.

Fiesta Resort

The name of this Costa Rica all-inclusive resort speaks for itself. With direct beach access, daily sports activities, weekly parties and nightly entertainment all included in the cost of your stay, this lively resort is great for anyone looking for a good time.

Apart from the resort and the beach, there isn’t much else to do nearby. The Fiesta Resort is best for guests who are looking to enjoy everything an all-inclusive resort has to offer with just a few day trips thrown in.

The grounds include 4 pools and whirlpools, 2 tennis courts, a beach soccer field and volleyball court, an indoor game room, and a minigolf course. Rooms are plain but comfortable. The honeymoon suites feature a view of the pool or garden and come with a private jacuzzi.

There are 4 bars spread out on the pool decks so a refreshing drink or snack is always within arm’s reach. Head to Calypso Restaurant for dinner and enjoy a huge and varied buffet or make a reservation at Macarela or Macondo for Latin-inspired dishes and fresh seafood.

Barcelo Tambor

Barcelo Tambor is set in a sparsely populated area of the Nicoya Peninsula. Rugged natural beauty surrounds the resort but there aren’t many attractions nearby. Nature lovers will feel at home here on the shoreline among the mountains, birds, and monkeys. For an easily accessible adventure, Tortuga Island can be reached in about 15 minutes via boat.

There are two a la carte restaurants, Miayako Japanese Restaurant and El Rancho Steakhouse. Both require reservations to be made in advance and previous reviews suggest that getting a table is somewhat challenging. Thankfully there is also El Tucan, a large dining room with a daily buffet spread for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Apart from relaxing by the pool, there are plenty of sports available like archery, rock climbing, and watersports, and a large golf and country club is less than a mile from the resort. There are nightly shows in the resort’s massive amphitheater and a nightclub that stays open until 3 a.m.

What people say about us

We worked with Mike to plan our perfect honeymoon in Greece — he was amazing the whole way through and put together a trip we will cherish for our lifetime.

He was thoughtful with our suggestions, and provided some of his own without every pushing us. He stayed within our budgetary means but made it feel like we had a budget twice the size.

Alex

Dan and Michelle were such a joy to work with! They really made our trip and cruise successful. Based on our needs they were able to help us identify and schedule what side trips and activities would best suit our interests.

After this trip I will be using a travel agent for future vacations…just can’t wait for the next one they help us plan!

Elizabeth

Honeymoon Always has been fantastic- our trips were 1000% better because of their help. The first time we used them we wanted to have a fun trip with some cultural experiences, good food, not too packed, and for a good price. It was fantastic and now we've used them for several trips in Europe, Central America, and the Caribbean. Each trip was so different but they were able to make each one special and unique to our needs.
