This is the best Sandals Resort for someone looking to be in the Caribbean without going very far. Not only is it close to the US but it is also close to the airport. It is also the only Sandals Resort that is near a casino. You can enjoy amazing food, the casino, and the waterpark at BahaMar during your trip.
If you are looking for a more party vibe there is a pool area with music and activities like a foam party.

Sandals Royal Bahamian is located in Nassau, which is the capital of The Bahamas. This means you can find plenty of direct and nonstop flights to Sandals Royal Bahamian.
The resort is located about 15 minutes from Lynden Pindling International Airport, and you receive complimentary airport transfers, meaning your Bahamas vacation or honeymoon will start right away. The resort is conveniently located 20 minutes from downtown Nassau and Bay Street and 30 minutes from Paradise Island.

Onsite at Sandals Royal Bahamian, you’ll find complimentary watersports such as kayaking, windsurfing, paddleboarding, sailing, water trikes, and Hobie Cats, as well as snorkeling and scuba diving. You can enjoy multiple pools and whirlpools, plus two beautiful beaches and the Coconut Grove lounge area.
Land activities include day and night tennis, pool tables, croquet, basketball, lawn chess, shuffleboard, table tennis, and beach volleyball. There’s also a full fitness center onsite, which is located in a penthouse to give you amazing views as you work out! You can also choose to indulge in optional services at the Red Lane Spa.
Plus, Sandals Royal Bahamian offers the exclusive offshore island of Barefoot Cay, which is just minutes from the resort via the Love Runner. You can also enjoy two food trucks: Coco Queen, serving Bahamian fare, and Sweets’N’ Tings Patisserie.
As at every Sandals resort, all meals, snacks, and beverages are included in your stay, so you can feast to your heart’s content! Room service is included in club and butler-level rooms, with butler suites offering 24-hour room service. You can also book a private candlelight dinner on the beach for an extra fee.

Your rate at Sandals Royal Bahamian will cover the same inclusions offered at all Sandals resorts: complimentary airport transfers; all dining and beverages including unlimited premium liquors and unlimited Robert Mondavi Twin Oaks wines; a stocked minibar in your room; a coffee maker with Jamaican Blue Mountain Blend coffee; water sports and equipment plus professional instruction; WiFi; daily and nightly entertainment; unlimited land sports; and state-of-the-art fitness center. You can also get a free wedding at Sandals with a minimum 3-night stay!
Even all tips, taxes, and gratuities are included. There is no need to worry about tipping the bartender, the bellman, or your server at one of the specialty restaurants. However, if you stay in a butler-level suite, your butler can and will accept tips. We recommend tipping a butler $20 a day, depending on how much you use their services. Spa therapists and airport transport drivers should also be tipped since they are not Sandals employees.
