Sandals Resorts is opening its 18th resort on its 8th Caribbean destination. Originally announced as a Beaches family-friendly resort, it was eventually decided to instead open the resort as a Sandals adult-only resort.

The new resorts will be 50 acres nestled within a mountain range and neighboring rainforest.
The Buccament Bay Spa and Resort was purchased by Sandals and is going to be extensively renovated to be transformed into Sandals St Vincent and the Grenadines.
St Vincent and the Grenadines is a lesser-known island and the Sandals Resort will bring new life to the tourism industry.
“Some visitors are not looking for the major tourism destinations where there are 50,000 hotels, they are looking for something that is just quaint, that is just different, that is just picturesque, as far as they are concerned and that is what I believe St Vincent has to offer right now- immediately, just by me spending the first four hours on the island, the destination.”

Suites with Media Rooms
New to sandals are suites with media rooms. Enjoy a relaxing evening watching a movie with a 75″ HD TV and sound bar. These media rooms are also available as swim up suites.
Suites with Fitness Rooms
Also new to Sandals are fitness rooms. If fitness and wellness is important to you, these suites have two exercise bikes, complete with programs you can personalize. There is a large tv with additional weights and workout equipment so you dont have to leave your room to get in a great workout.

Sandals Saint Vincent Reviews
There is a lot of excitement for Sandals Saint Vincent as it looks like an amazing modern resort.
The previous resort Buccament Bay Spa and Resort, received mixed reviews. A lot of the bad reviews were due to disrepair. Since the resort will be fully reimagined, I do not think this will be a problem.

When a Sandals Resort opens, there is usually a grand opening incentive to book soon after opening as an added perk. When a Sandals Resort is open there are sometimes some issues that need to be resolved as they smooth things out and train new employees.
I recommend giving them at least a few weeks before going.
