While we were in Grenada, we went for a tour of the island that took us to the capital city of St. George, a waterfall, a spice nursery, and into the jungle to see the mona monkey of Grenada.

Best of Grenada Historical Spice Tour and Waterfall Experience
Grenada has long been known as the “Spice Isle,” and this Sandals Grenada excursion will help you learn all about its spice industry—and have fun along the way. Start at a nutmeg cooperative, then head on to a chocolate factory and cocoa estate, before going to the town of Sauteurs. Have lunch at Belmont Estate, then enjoy a trip through the Grand Etang Forest Reserve to see the volcanic lake and then swim at Annandale Falls.
Half-Day Historical Sightseeing and St. George’s Shopping Tour
Combine sightseeing and shopping, as well as some delicious sampling, on this half-day Sandals Grenada excursion. First you head to Grenada Distillers to try local rums and nutmeg liqueurs, then explore historic Fort Frederick. Next you’ll try jams, jellies, and liqueurs made from local fruit and nutmeg, then go to St. George’s for some leisurely browsing among the many shops. Grenada Jeep, Kayaking, and Beach Bum Experience
Head off in a topless Jeep and drive through Grenada’s lush landscape to BBC Beach. There, you’ll get a glass bottom kayak which you can paddle yourself or have towed out into the sea. Your see-through kayak will give you great views of all the colorful tropical fish and coral under the water. Then you drive to famous Grand Anse Beach to lounge on the soft white sand and swim.
Discover Grenada by Land and Sea
This Sandals Grenada excursion shows you some of the most beautiful spots on the island. Start by boat from the Grenada Yacht Club and sail along the coast to top snorkeling sites. Enjoy the vibrant marine life, then check out the unique Underwater Sculpture Park. Next, you’ll head back to land for a 4×4 Jeep ride to a waterfall, then on to an authentic lunch in a local fishing village, followed by dessert at the Diamond Chocolate factory.

Balthazar River Tubing Adventure

The Balthazar river is located in a tropical rainforest, which you’ll get to see as you navigate the rapids with your trained guides. You’ll also get to see exotic indigenous wildlife. Once you’ve made it down the exhilarating ride, swim in natural pools and enjoy a glass of fruit juice or rum punch to celebrate.

In between excursions, you have lots of Sandals Grenada activities to try. Relax on the gorgeous 2-mile stretch of soft white sand and gaze out at the crystal clear water.
Get into or on that water with a variety of complimentary water sports including snorkeling, paddleboarding, kayaking, scuba diving, windsurfing, and Hobie Cat sailing. For an extra fee, you can even try SNUBA, a combination of snorkeling and scuba diving.
If you want to stay on land, you can play beach volleyball, pool, bocce ball, shuffleboard, table tennis, and day or night tennis, or work out at the state-of-the-art fitness center. You can also indulge at the spa for an extra fee. Daily and nightly entertainment includes theme nights, talent nights, beach parties, and live music.
