Located in Whitehouse, Sandals South Coast is a secluded and peaceful resort in a nature reserve. This romantic resort is popular for honeymoons and destination weddings, and the overwater bungalows have recently been refurbished and are located off to one side of the resort for privacy.
The Blue Mahoe Overwater Butler Villas at Sandals South Coast give you direct access to the Caribbean from an expansive private deck that features a Tranquility Soaking Tub for two, overwater hammock, outdoor shower, bistro set, and swim-up platform. The interior features a see-through glass floor insert for underwater views, vaulted ceilings, a king-size bed, and a spa-like bathroom with a walk-in rain shower. It comes with 24-hour in-room dining and personal butler service.
Sandals South Coast offers 9 restaurants, 7 bars including a swim-up bar, 4 pools, 4 whirlpools, and a wide variety of included activities including both motorized and nonmotorized watersports.
Sandals Royal Caribbean, Jamaica Overwater Bungalow Details
The overwater bungalows at Sandals Royal Caribbean in Montego Bay are located on a private offshore island, set around a heart-shaped walkway over the turquoise Caribbean. The island also has peaceful beaches, a pool with swim-up bar, and a great Thai restaurant.
There are two types of overwater bungalow here; one is similar to those at Sandals South Coast, and the other is a little larger and also has a private infinity pool. Both include butler service and 24/7 room service, as well as private airport transfers and water taxi service back and forth to the main resort. They are currently being renovated and are expected to be open in December 2025.
The Overwater Private Island Butler Honeymoon Bungalow features a large private deck with a Tranquility Soaking Tub™ for two, an overwater hammock, loungers, bistro set, outdoor shower, and swim-up platform, while the interior has a see-through glass floor insert, a king-size bed, and a spa-like bathroom with walk-in rain shower.
The Overwater Private Island Butler Villa with Infinity Pool has a more spacious interior with a seating area, plus an oversized soaking tub in the bathroom, and a larger sundeck with a private infinity pool.
