Imagine a secluded wedding chapel set in the woods with floor-to-ceiling windows bringing the surrounding vegetation into your wedding. Instead of walking down the aisle of the chapel to “Here Comes The Bride”, an instrumental version of “I Can’t Help Falling in Love With You” plays, a nod to the historic grounds where the chapel is located. You’re at Graceland, only a couple hundred yards from where Elvis and Priscilla held a wedding reception of their own.
Elvis wasn’t only the King of Rock but was also the king of making love songs. It’s only fitting that fans today could continue to come to Graceland with the ultimate sign of love, getting married.
When I first thought of a wedding at Graceland, I imagined an Elvis officiant like what you would find in Las Vegas. I was pleasantly surprised to find the wedding options at Graceland to be perfect for a classy wedding, even for people who aren’t even big fans of Elvis. For very affordable rates, couples can rent the newly built Chapel in the Woods and use the many services available at the hotel to make your day perfect.
Starting at only $750, packages include 2-hour blocks of time for up to 100 guests, the Officiant, a complimentary tour of Graceland, a Wedding Coordinator, use of the Bridal Room, Groom’s Room and the Chapel’s Reception area and grounds, a live stream of your ceremony so friends and family who couldn’t attend can watch you exchange your vows, and up to a 15-minute photography session in front of the Mansion for the couple and up to six guests (photographer’s fees excluded).
Inside the chapel, there are authentic, antique church pews for guests, and vows are exchanged in front of large expansive windows, overlooking the beautiful woods. Just outside is an intimate reception area, located in the rear of the Graceland wedding chapel.
When planning a wedding at Graceland your wedding coordinator can help create a perfect day as your plan each detail with special services like arranging photography, videography, floral arrangements, the wedding cake, custom wedding invitations, professional salon services, classic car, or limousine rental, musicians and catering.
For a unique reception, you can head across the street to the Elvis Presley’s Car Museum for a location that speaks for itself. There are also additional options at the Guest House at Graceland.
The accommodations at The Guesthouse at Graceland make your stay even more comfortable with unique rooms and suites for you, your family, and friends.
