The quick answer to this is no. Unlike with ocean cruise lines such as Royal Caribbean or some other river cruise companies like Viking, there are no AmaWaterways drink packages. Therefore you don’t need to worry about what the AmaWaterways drink package price is.
And good news—you don’t really have to worry about Amawaterways drink prices either! You won’t have to buy all your drinks when onboard, since most of them are included in your fare.
Are AmaWaterways cruises all-inclusive?
Yes, AmaWaterways cruises are all inclusive. Your fare will cover all your meals plus most beverages; onboard activities and programs; WiFi; excursions; and bicycles to use on land (on itineraries in Europe).
Is alcohol included on AmaWaterways?
As we discussed above, the answer to this is both yes and no. Most alcohol is included on AmaWaterways ships. With your meals, you’ll receive unlimited nonalcoholic drinks like coffee, tea, water, soft drinks, and juice plus alcoholic drinks like sparkling wine (at breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and beer and wine (at lunch and dinner).
The wines that are served with meals are top quality and locally sourced to give you a taste of the region you’re traveling through. There is generally a selection of red, white, rose, and sparkling available.
There is also a Sip and Sail cocktail hour each evening that includes complimentary beer, wine, liquor, and a “cocktail of the day” which changes throughout the trip. Coffee, tea, and water are also available around the clock. Water is put in your stateroom and replenished daily. Outside of meals, you can purchase soft drinks.
At meals, or between them at the lounge bar, you can also order premium wines or cocktails for an extra charge.
How much are drinks on AmaWaterways?
If you want to have a cocktail outside of the Sip and Sail cocktail hour, you will need to pay for it. While we don’t have a price list, AmaWaterways drink prices are reasonable according to former passengers.
If you really don’t want to pay for drinks, however, you are able to bring your own alcohol on board without a fee. This also includes any wines you find when on local excursions. There are corkscrews and wine glasses in each cabin, as well as a minifridge if you want to store mixers.
