Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana Adult Only All Inclusive

Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana

Reserve at Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana and find yourself a stone’s throw from the world-famous Juanillo Beach in the upscale gated community of Cap Cana. This Dominican Republic all-inclusive adults-only resort has more than 25 restaurants and bars plus a waterpark, swim-up bars, a variety of daily activities to choose from, and nightly entertainment.

One of the resort’s most impressive features is the Himalayan Salt Lounge, a treatment room that promises relief from all kinds of ailments. The Salt Lounge is part of Hyatt’s unique underground Larimar Spa. (For a family-friendly alternative, check out the Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana.)

Iberostar Grand Bavaro

Iberostar Grand Bavaro is one of the Iberostar’s adult-only locations. The lavish grounds live up to the Spanish-based chain’s reputation for opulent architectural design with high domed ceilings, Greco-Roman-inspired white pillars, and lush gardens.

The rate here includes butler service, huge private furnished terraces, and in-room whirlpool tubs. Guests at Iberostar Grand Bavaro will also enjoy a complimentary golf package with their stay that includes unlimited rounds of golf and free transfers to and from the course.

Secrets Cap Cana

Secrets resorts are part of the World of Hyatt, along with Dreams and Breathless properties. Many of the amenities and inclusions are the same at each resort, like unlimited dining and drinks, luxury accommodations with upgrades like private pools or swim-up entrances, and tons of complimentary entertainment and activities.

Secrets properties are adults-only all-inclusives, with an emphasis on romance and luxury. Secrets Cap Cana is in the safe, gated community of Cap Cana surrounded by other Punta Cana high-end resorts and offers easy access to trendy restaurants, clubs, and bars if you feel like venturing off-site. This is the top-rated Secrets resort.

Sanctuary Cap Cana

Sanctuary Cap Cana is a breathtaking property that sits on a cliffside and covers over 20 acres of prime Dominican real estate. Amenities at this adults-only all-inclusive in the Dominican Republic include 6 pools, 12 bars and restaurants, and a world-class spa.

Many spa treatments are geared toward couples, like massages and body treatments. Make it a trip to remember with an upgraded suite that comes with a private hot tub, butler service, and a separate seating area.

Dreams Dominicus La Romana

Dreams resorts offer family-friendly, luxury accommodations in some of the Caribbean’s most popular destinations. They have a huge presence in the Dominican Republic, with a total of 6 resorts scattered throughout the island, and offer a wide assortment of family activities as well as romantic options.

The Dreams Dominicus La Romana location sits on a gorgeous stretch of Dominicus Beach on the southeastern coast. Calm, turquoise water and an explosion of colorful coral reefs and tropical fish are only steps away from 392 guest rooms and suites. Snorkel and other non-motorized watersports equipment is available right on the beach. There are also several gourmet restaurants to choose from, 3 swimming pools, and clubs for younger kids and teens.

Catalonia Royal La Romana

Located in the sleepy town of Bayahibe, Catalonia Royal La Romana is a peaceful, affordable adults-only all-inclusive resort with nightly rates starting at less than $300. Guests are greeted with a complimentary welcome cocktail and will enjoy a sprawling buffet restaurant and unlimited local alcoholic drinks and fresh fruit juice.

Reviews mention that the food is a bit underwhelming, but the resort is in a good location and has a rewards program that gives members discounts and perks like free a la carte breakfast or late check-outs.

Dreams Onyx Resort & Spa

Dreams Onyx stands out as a great choice for families because of its extended family-friendly block of suites with adjoining rooms and two bedrooms instead of 1. Plus, there are almost 24 restaurants and bars to choose from here, with plenty of kid-friendly Western meal options to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters.

There are also 6 swimming pools, a jungle-themed water park with waterslides and a lazy river, a nearby golf course, and a beach with excellent snorkeling. During the evening, moms and dads who want to enjoy a date night with just each other can order 24-hour room service for the kids and hire a professional child-care provider at an added cost while they enjoy a romantic candle-lit dinner for two.

Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana

Adults-only all-inclusive Secrets Royal Beach has 641 rooms that all come with a private whirlpool. Plus, with 17 dining options to choose from, a delicious gourmet meal every night of the week is all but guaranteed. Secrets Royal Beach also offers swim-up bars, a bar on the beach, a sports bar with pool tables and plenty of TVs, a music lounge, and a nightclub.

During the day, free activities like dance classes and Spanish lessons are available, and non-motorized watersports equipment is free to use as well. Optional extras include spa treatments and excursions like scuba diving, fishing, and guided eco-tours that can be arranged through the concierge.

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana

For a perfect family trip to Punta Cana, stay at Dreams Royal Beach. They have activities for guests of all ages, including a Kids’ Club for children ages 3-12; a Teen Club with sports courts, planned outings, and games; and lots of offerings for moms and dads like spa treatments, discounts at a nearby golf course, and delicious a la carte dining options for a romantic dinner.

Along with direct beach access and free use of non-motorized watersports equipment, there are 3 pristine swimming pools for a refreshing dip after an afternoon in the hot sun. It’s worth noting that this resort is located right next door to Secrets Royal Beach, and some reviews from previous guests mention being bothered by noise from rowdy neighbors coming back from the Secrets nightclub late at night.

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana

If a night of gambling is in the cards for your vacation to the Dominican Republic, check into the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana. The 45,000-square-foot casino here is home to more than 430 slot machines and 20 tables, plus a VIP Lounge for seriously high rollers.

The resort also features a large selection of restaurants and shops and easy access to Bavaro Beach. Frequent guests of Hard Rock Hotels can join the chain’s loyalty program and collect reward points that can be used towards discounts on future stays and item discounts in Hard Rock stores and cafes.

Radisson Blu Punta Cana

Radisson Blu Punta Cana is one of the more affordable options on this list of top Dominican Republic all-inclusive resorts. For as little as $170 per night, guests can enjoy unlimited drinks and gourmet dining at 8 restaurants and bars, take dance classes, play games, and end the day with some live musical entertainment.

Plus, if you’re craving adventure, the resort is near Bavaro Adventure Park, a huge theme park with ziplines, swimming pools, ATV Buggies, and horseback riding. With available upgrades like butler service and private whirlpools, Radisson Blu Punta Cana is as perfect for couples as it is for families.

Dreams Macao Beach

Dream Macao Beach has some of the best activities options out of the chain’s entire portfolio, especially if you’re traveling with older kids who have outgrown Kids’ Clubs and the like. The resort has a large waterpark with a lazy river and 4 waterslides plus a disco, arcade, and unexpected extras like big trampolines and a tightrope walk.

There’s even a weekly camping trip for kids as old as 12. The resort can get quite busy, and many reviews mention that it can be difficult to find a quiet, peaceful spot to relax, but if you want an exciting getaway that keeps the kids busy, this might be the perfect spot.

Breathless Punta Cana Resort & Spa

Another member of the World of Hyatt, Breathless Punta Cana Resort & Spa has many of the same offerings that Secrets and Dreams properties do in terms of room layouts and dining options. Like Secrets resorts, all-inclusive Breathless resorts are for adults only and feature daily activities and nightly entertainment.

Unlike Secrets resorts, however, Breathless properties have a livelier party atmosphere aimed at young couples and solo travelers. Pool parties, drinking games around the main pool, and late nights with live DJs are the norm here. Many reviews mention noise and there don’t seem to be any accommodation buildings set far enough away from the main pool to escape it. That being said, if you want to party, this is the resort for you.

Dreams Flora Resort & Spa

Dreams Flora Resort & Spa is one of the newest Dreams properties, having only opened its doors in February 2023. It’s in a small town neighborhood between Punta Cana and Bavaro Beach called Cabeza de Toro, which is host to a few other high-end resorts and has one of the most picture-perfect beaches in the country, minus the crowds you’d find at Bavaro.

So far, Dreams Flora’s reviews are solid and the resort has already earned a Trip Advisor rating of 4.5. Browsing the reviews, the resort’s outstanding service and relaxing, laid-back vibe are most frequently mentioned.

Club Med Punta Cana

Club Med Punta Cana is a high-end oceanfront resort for guests of all ages, with dedicated adult-only sections on the beach and in the Zen block of rooms. The resort is historic as it was the Dominican Republic’s first all-inclusive resort, opening its doors in 1981.

The place can get busy, and with only 3 restaurants to choose from, some reviews mention that, although the options are delicious, getting a table at popular mealtimes can be tricky. Amenities include 3 swimming pools; free use of sports equipment including kayaks, sailboats, and windsurfing boards; and lots of perks like a private lounge and extended room service if you upgrade to the Tiara Package.
