When to visit Koh Yao Noi
The best time to visit Ko Yao Noi weather-wise is during the drier months of November through April. But during our stay in June we had little rain showers interspersed with beautiful sunny days.
How to get to Koh Yao Noi
Koh Yao Noi means “Small Long Island” in Thai and is located between Phuket and Krabi in the middle of Phang Nga Bay. It is only a 45 minutes boat ride from Phuket and a 20 minutes boat ride from Krabi. Six Senses Yao Noi has the option to pick you up with their private vehicle from the airport and drive you to the marina (Phuket) or pier (Krabi).
Six Senses amenities and facilities
Six Senses Yao Noi was built in 2007 and consists of 66 pool villas, all with their own private pool with sundeck and total privacy between each elevated villa. You can choose from spectacular panoramic views on Phang Nga Bay or romantic forest views. The eco-friendly villas differ from one to four bedrooms with all the creature comforts you need. Prices range between 600 USD -1800 USD per night depending on the type of room and season you book. With each villa you have your own personal GEM ( Guest Experience Maker ) to make your stay as comfortable and unforgettable as possible.

There are four diverse and delicious outdoor dining experiences. The Hilltop Restaurant offers a dining area with extraordinary views on Phang Nga Bay for which the resort is renowned. The Dining Room presents organic European cuisine and the Living Room a world cuisine with an emphasis on Thai, an open grill and pizza ovens.
But for true romantic moments for which you are looking for during your honeymoon, your GEM can arrange in-villa champagne breakfast, a private picnic or a private dinner beneath the stars in your villa or on the beach. Including a personal chef and dedicated waiter! For the movie lovers, there is an outdoor cinema at the beach on specific dates.
At the Hilltop Restaurant is a large swimming pool with sundeck and again the incredible view on Phang Nga bay. There are also lots of wellness activities like a yoga pavilion, sauna, meditation room, spa treatment rooms and a gym for the sporty couples.
Activities and experiences
Although Koh Yao Noi is a small local island, there are lots of activities to do. Explore the island by local tuk tuk, go for a picnic to the nearby islands or do a romantic sunset cruise. If you prefer sporty activities you can take Muay Thai lessons, do a nature bike trail, watersport activities or rock climbing. For the creative people you can attend Batik painting and Thai cooking classes. There are even helicopter transfers and trips available!
For honeymooners or wedding events there are a few special options at Six Senses Yao Noi.

Due to the intimate design of the Six Senses Yao Noi property, up to 36 guests plus the Bride and the Groom can be accommodated during weddings. Our experience
During my birthday we stayed for 2 nights at Six Senses Yao Noi. It was an unforgettable and out of the ordinary experience with extremely personal service, an extended choice of delicious food combined with one of the most impressive views of Thailand on Phang Nga bay.
A huge plus for me was the complimentary homemade ice cream. I love ice-cream so much!
We became lifetime fans of the Six Senses brand, but especially from the Koh Yao Noi location.
Their commitment to wellness, sustainability and the fun and quirky way of doing things makes Six Senses Yao Noi the ultimate place to spend your honeymoon.
Let nature be your playground! Combined with the best hospitality, most amazing view and extraordinary luxury, your stay at Six Senses Yao Noi will be unforgettable.
