Nothing says honeymoon destination like a luxury resort in Samoa, and the
Sea Breeze Resort is just the place for romance. Located on the main island
of Upolo’s and being an adult only resort – this is the ultimate resort for
a romantic getaway.
Built, owned and operated by an Australian couple for the past 13 years,
these guys will treat you like royalty from the moment you arrive. And
don’t just take my word for it – these guys are smashing it with numerous
awards under their belt including TripAdvisor 2019 Traveller’s Choice Winner
of the Top 20 Hotels for Romance and Service in the South Pacific, Winner of
the Samoa Tourism Award for the best deluxe accommodation in 2017, 2018 and
2019 as well as Samoa’s leading resort for 6 consecutive years during
2013-2018.

The resort itself is tucked away like a private retreat on a little cove on
Upolo’s southeast coast. The beach here is stunning with soft white sand
and the beautiful blue ocean in the secluded lagoon. The cove here is so
secluded that you will only be sharing it with the resort guests. Given the
resort only has 12 villas, in some cases you might have the entire beach to
yourself. Just off the beach is a great spot to go snorkelling too.
Across the 12 villas, the resort can accommodate up to 28 guests. There are
a variety of room types to choose from including the entry-level ocean room
rooms to the luxurious honeymoon suite perched high on the hill which has
spectacular panoramic views across the Pacific Ocean and resort as well as a
private spa. Most rooms accommodate two guests, but some rooms can
accommodate up to four. Room prices start at around $280 USD per night and
up to $555 USD per night for the honeymoon suite.

All Seabreeze Resort rooms include air conditioning, tea and coffee making
facilities, small fridge, balcony with sea views, hammock and a
complimentary mini bar. Yes, that’s right on arrival you can expect to have
your in room mini bar stocked with your favourite alcoholic or non-alcoholic
drinks and it will be replenished every single day!! A two course a la
carte breakfast is also included each morning.
The Seabreeze Resort was made for relaxing – whether you lounge around in
your villa or by the stunning infinity swimming pool. However there is
plenty to do for active couples as well. Go snorkelling or kayaking in the
glass bottom kayaks in the private lagoon, hire a car onsite to go and
explore the island or join a tour. Other things to do include in room
massages and the weekly cultural evenings are not to be missed.

The resort features a stunning waterfront restaurant and bar, with gorgeous
views across the lagoon. There is also the option of a private dining
pavilion which is perfect for a romantic dinner for two. The restaurant
serves a range of dishes including local seafood and western cuisine. For
something a little more casual visit the pizzeria which is open over the
weekend for lunch or the pool bar which is open daily.
Places to visit near the Seabreeze Resort include Lalomanu Beach, To Sua
Ocean Trench, Vavau Beach and Sopo’aga Waterfalls. You can even walk to
Vavau Beach and the Trench if you wish, however as mentioned the resort is
only too happy to hire you one of their cars so you can go exploring further
afield on your own.
For couples wanting a secluded, luxurious and romantic place to somewhere in
the South Pacific for their honeymoon- the Seabreeze Resort is the perfect
choice. But just a word of warning – it’s going to be super hard to leave!
