Why honeymoon in Santorini?
Greece is an amazing honeymoon destination. One of the best things about Greece is you can easily get to a few different destinations.
Santorini is usually at the top because of its reputation.
What makes Santorini stand out amongst the other islands is the caldera views. The views are absolutely incredible and make for great honeymoon photographs.
Santorini is also known for its excellent restaurants, luxurious resorts, and spas.
With that said… you do not need to go only to Santorini on your honeymoon. Santorini is crowded and does not have great beaches. The iconic resorts with views can be very expensive. There are plenty of other places in Greece that you can add to a Santorini honeymoon.
How many days in Santorini is enough?
We recommend 3-4 nights in Santorini. This will give you enough time to experience the sunsets and explore the island a bit before moving on to another destination. This is why our custom Santorini honeymoon packages include other Greek islands.
