One of the few things that is not included in your all-inclusive rate at Sandals Resorts is Cabana rentals at some resorts.
Prices vary by resort, but they tend to run around $125-$150 a day currently.
In our opinion, if you do not have a butler room, this is definitely worth the cost for what you get.
What are Sandals cabanas?
At Sandals Resorts, there are private structures on the beach or pool—and sometimes actually over the water—that are cabanas, you can rent.
There are a variety of cabanas, but they usually take the form of a square thatched-roof building with a mix of walls and open sides. Sandals cabanas offer additional privacy and luxury, which is perfect when you’re on your honeymoon or couples beach trip.
Sandals cabanas have curtains for additional privacy, as well as a bed to lounge on and an ice chest to keep drinks cold. You’ll be in a prime oceanfront location, and some Sandals cabanas are perched over the water.
Sandals cabanas generally also feature some furniture like a small table and chairs inside for dining, and lounge chairs outside on the sand.
You can spend the entire day in your cabana at Sandals, having all food and drinks delivered to you by a dedicated butler (also called a “cabana concierge”) that you contact via cell phone. You can also request chilled towels! This is a wonderful way to experience butler service at Sandals without having to pay extra for a butler suite.
On the morning of your cabana rental, your butler will escort you from your room to your cabana and then serve you breakfast there. You will have access to him or her until about 4 to 5 p.m.
How do you rent a cabana at Sandals?
You can’t rent a cabana at Sandals in advance—you can only book them once you’re at the resort. Because of this, you will want to rent your Sandals cabana as soon as you arrive. You can ask about Sandals’ cabana rentals when you check-in.
How much is it to rent a cabana at Sandals?
It costs about $150 a day for a Sandals cabana rental on the beach. According to some guests, if you rent a cabana for more than one day, you’ll get a discounted rate.
Why You Should Rent a Cabana
Not everyone wants a butler waiting on them all day every day. Renting a cabin get you a butler for the day without needing to pay for a butler and have one your entire trip. Its also great to not have to worry about grabbing a chair for the day.
