15 All-Inclusive Resorts in Montego Bay You’ll Hate To Leave

Montego Bay, or “Mobay”, is Jamaica’s ever-awake tourism hub. From a sugarcane port to a playground for the worldwide elite, this city has solidified its status as one of the Caribbean’s top vacation destinations.

In our opinion, the best way to enjoy the area and be able to fully unwind is by staying at one of the all-inclusive resorts in the area.

There are so many all-inclusive resorts in Montego Bay that it can be hard to make a decision. There’s something here for every kind of traveler! To make your search easier, here’s a narrowed-down list of the best all-inclusive resorts in Montego Bay.

Montego Bay All-Inclusive Resorts Quick Takes

Sandals Royal Caribbean

Sandals is one of the most well-known resort chains in Jamaica, with Sandals Royal Caribbean being a favorite.

Sandals Royal Caribbean is overall a stunning and intimate adults-only resort. Its most impressive and unique offering is that it has its own private island! This is where you’ll find 12 overwater bungalows (as well as five overwater villas).

These premium accommodations are highly coveted and, despite the price tag, get booked far in advance. It’s not surprising, as Royal Caribbean is one of only two resorts in Jamaica that has them!

Guests at Sandals Royal Caribbean also have full access to the nearby Sandals Montego Bay, which is larger with more amenities, activities, and nightlife.

Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall

Upscale resorts in Montego Bay aren’t hard to find. However, Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall just stands out from the crowd. It’s consistently been one of the best-rated resorts across the whole island!

Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall is family-friendly with everything you could want out of an all-inclusive resort. It has eight restaurants, an expansive pool, a swim-up bar, a decked-out spa, and so much more!

There are two Hyatt resorts in Montego Bay, making up a two-resort complex. Hyatt Ziva makes the list over its sister resort, Hyatt Zilara, because it has more restaurants and amenities.

Hyatt Zilara is, however, adults-only, so it’s worth considering if you’re taking a couple’s trip or just simply won’t have any kids in your group.

Half Moon

The Rose Hall district of Montego Bay is home to many of the city’s top resorts, including Half Moon. This resort is one that often receives royal guests, including the British royal family!

Half Moon is a family-friendly resort that is divided into three sections. Founders Cove is the original body of the resort, dating back to the 1950s. This is the most prestigious section, with only 10 suites, offering a truly one-of-a-kind experience.

Rose Hall Villas is the section for families and groups. Each villa has five to seven bedrooms and includes a cook, butler, and housekeeper.

Eclipse is the place to be for couples and is also where you’ll find the beachfront and most of the resort’s amenities, including the infinity pool and award-winning spa.

Breathless Montego Bay

Breathless Montego Bay is a modern, adults-only resort that is catered to young adults (or anyone with a young soul!).

The rooms are luxurious with private balconies that have jetted tubs, overlooking either the bay or the mountains.

There are five bars, including one on the beach where you can expect beachside service. Another bar is at the rooftop infinity pool, which has a hot tub. The main pool keeps it lively with DJs and foam parties.

Guests at Breathless Montego Bay have free access to Secrets Wild Orchids and Secrets St. James, its two sister or “cousin” resorts.

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites

There’s so much to do at Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites! The star of the show here is the massive infinity-edge pool with an ocean view. The spa here is no joke either, being quite expansive and housing a hydrotherapy room, as well as a yoga and pilates studio.

The kids’ club is great, too, with its own pool, water park, and video game room. There’s also a lazy river in the hotel’s main section, which both kids and adults will enjoy.

In addition to the amenities here, you get access to those at one of Suites’ two sister resorts: Iberostar Rose Hall Beach. That resort is more kid-friendly but not as luxurious.

Suites’ other sister resort, Iberostar Grand Rose Hall, is adults-only and more upscale. Among all three, Suites offers the most balanced mix of luxury of family-friendliness.

Jewel Grande Montego Bay

Jewel Grande Montego Bay is a gorgeous, family-friendly resort. Compared to most all-inclusive resorts, Jewel Grande Montego Bay doesn’t offer much in the way of entertainment. This could be a plus for travelers who just want a tranquil, quiet vacation.

The accommodations here are modern and elegant, with colonial-style decor. They range from junior to three-bedroom suite-style rooms with balconies, many of which have at least partial ocean views. The two pools here also have ocean views!

The restaurants get especially great reviews, as well as the buffet and the bars. Here, you’ll also find a spa with a sauna and refreshing mineral pool. In addition, the kids’ club and play area at the resort are well decked-out.

Hotel Riu Palace

Hotel Riu Palace is an adults-only, all-inclusive resort that’s great for couples and groups of friends or family members. It’s located on a small, private bay just outside of Montego Bay

Hotel Riu Palace has two pools; the main one has a swim-up bar while the other is an infinity pool. The resort also has four restaurants, with cuisines ranging from steakhouse and Italian to Japanese and international fusion.

Hotel Riu Montego Bay, Palace’s sister resort, is larger and has even more amenities and activities that are fully available to Palace guests. Palace makes the list because its smaller size means that it has a much more intimate, laidback atmosphere. It’s also more luxurious and modern.

Zoetry Montego Bay Jamaica

Zoetry Montego Bay comprises a mere 49 suites, meaning you’ll have a quiet stay with the potential for a voluntary social component should you choose to. It’s an incredibly relaxing stay, taking a holistic approach to relaxation and wellness just as the spa does. An amazing choice for the foodies among us, 24-hour in-suite dining is available alongside a first-class concierge service that is eager to please.

Some spa pampering should also be on any guest’s list, as the spa here will leave you more relaxed than you ever thought possible. If that isn’t enough, or you’re worried about eating a lot without exercising, the gym facilities are amazing, with yoga classes and even personal trainers available.

Deja Resort

Deja Resort is a small, all-inclusive resort on the Hip Strip, in the heart of Montego Bay. It’s a budget all-inclusive that is quite no-frills, though it’s by no means shabby. The property and the rooms are spacious and modern.

On-site, you’ll find a restaurant, a bar, a fitness center, meeting rooms, and a pool with a bar of its own. The resort is just across from the famous Doctor’s Cave Beach; some rooms have ocean views.

This is a great place to stay if you want the all-inclusive experience but are on a budget or just don’t have any need for the flashy stuff larger resorts offer.

Deja Resort is also a fantastic choice for travelers who want to get out and explore the city of Montego Bay, as it’s right on the trendiest street in town!
