Golden Eye
Oracabessa Hotel
Small and luxurious, the Golden Eye resort is an attractive option for those looking to incorporate their honeymoon with a slice of history. The property, located in Oracabessa, St. Mary, is famous due to it being Ian Fleming’s past hideaway where he penned his James Bond novels.

What is the best month to go to Jamaica?
Because of its tropical climate, Jamaica is a great destination many months out of the year. But there are a few times that are often considered the best.
If you’re looking for the optimal beach weather, then Jamaica is best from mid-December to April. The weather is perfect for lazy days relaxing on the beach, but this is also peak season for tourism in Jamaica. So, if you do choose to visit during this time, odds are there will be larger crowds and some higher prices.
If beach weather isn’t a must – or at least not a must for your entire trip – then you might consider traveling to Jamaica a little earlier, from November to mid-December. The weather is still great, but peak season isn’t in full swing yet. So you can often find great deals and plenty of room options.
Which area of Jamaica is the best to stay in?
The answer to this depends on what type of trip you’re looking for and the activities you’re interested in. For beautiful beaches, you can’t beat laidback Negril, which is home to the famous Seven Mile Beach. For stunning natural wonders like the Blue Hole and Dunn’s River Falls, consider Ocho Rios. For a lively atmosphere with plenty of things to do, shopping, and nightlife, head to Montego Bay.
