Bora Bora Honeymoon Guide

Honeymoon in Bora Bora

Imagine relaxing out in the sun over crystal clear waters, laying out next to your over-the-water bungalow. It is a destination perfect for taking it easy after a (sometimes) stressful and tiring wedding and enjoying some downtime with your new better half.

After you have spent time relaxing there are plenty of other things to do to feed your need for adventure. If you love spending time in the water, seafood, and getting away from the busy city, Bora Bora is an excellent location for a honeymoon.

“For a honeymoon in Bali, I recommend spending 3 nights in south Bali to enjoy the beautiful beachers, followed by 4 nights in Ubud to experience the beautiful culture.”

St. Regis Bora Bora Resort

St Regis Bora Bora Honeymoon Resort

We stayed at The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort, which is perfect for an intimate escape! Located on its own private island, this must be the most spectacular place to honeymoon at; the private butler service can organize almost anything – from free dinner on the beach under emerald green palms and your feet in fine, powdery sand, overlooking the inspiring views of Mount Otemanu to making sure you are reminded in time you’ve got a snorkeling or scuba diving lesson. The service is so amazing that you can even indulge in delightful fantasies like bathing in a tub with fresh flowers floating on the water or having your bed dressed in a profusion of perfumed Polynesian flowers. No words! The overwater bungalows can include an outdoor shower and plunge pool.

For a five-night stay in one of the over-the-water bungalows, the cheapest option was US$5657 as part of a promotion, but the Royal Bungalow with a plunge pool and island view came to $9084. All of this comes without any extras and two additional upgrade options as well.

Incredible place. It's somewhere I've always had on my radar. It really does look like paradise. Perhaps when we make it back to Australia and NZ, we'll take a detour there. #citytripping
