Travelers who visit Fiji usually arrive at Nadi International Airport (NAN), the principal international airport of Fiji, and a key regional hub for the South Pacific islands, situated by the coast on the western side of the main island Viti Levu, 9km north of central Nadi. If you are flying from the U.S. and you are looking for a direct flight, you can look for tickets from Los Angeles. The flight is about 10 hours long.

An average meal can be around $13, with breakfast prices usually cheaper than lunch and dinner. Regarding transportation, the best way to get around Fiji is by bus. Pubic transportation can cost you around $8 per day, and the cost of taxi rides in Fiji can be significantly higher.
