Travel Tips

Brighton is located a short distance from London making it a perfect place for a weekend getaway or as an added trip as part of a longer vacation in England. This makes travel fairly easy, as long as you know where to go of course.

By Train

Getting to Brighton via train is simple. There are a number of direct routes from London. The trip from London Victoria is a mere 52 minutes, London Bridge 58 minutes and St Pancras just an hour and 16 minutes.

Brighton Station is 10 minutes from the town centre so very easy to negotiate. There are also taxis and buses lined up by the Station if you need them.

By Car

Getting there by car does of course depend on where you’re traveling from so check for the best route.

It should also be noted the local football team, Brighton and Hove Albion, play at home regularly so accounting for match day traffic is advisable. Again, this is something you might want to check before heading off.

Brighton is a hive of activity just waiting to be explored. With a multitude of things for couples to do, it’s almost impossible to get bored.

Originally built as a retreat for George IV, the grand building is now a public attraction. There’s certainly something romantic about seeing the grand architecture as a couple. A palace full of history, it’s more than easy to gaze at the stunning style and be amazed by its attractiveness.

Brighton Pier

You’d be hard pressed to find somebody who isn’t a fan of arguably Brighton’s most famous attraction. If you’re a pair of adrenaline junkies, there’s a host of rides including a few really fast and high ones if you want to take it to the extreme. If not, a steady spin on the carousel is just as fun.

Cliff Beach

If you’re feeling a little adventurous, Cliff Beach may offer something to fill the time. Britain’s first naturist beach is situated in Brighton. Of course, not to everybody’s liking but the area isn’t really viewable from the outside looking in.
