From the end of August to the beginning of December you can take part in helping baby sea turtles make it to the ocean. You can book a tour that includes adopting a baby turtle that you will release into the wild, allowing it to make its way into the ocean.

After releasing your adopted sea turtle you can relax and enjoy the sunset at the beach.

Visit Todos Santos

One perfect day trip from Cabo is to Todos Santos. This historic artist colony is located just 90 minutes up the coast and it is full of charm, with its narrow cobblestone streets and brightly painted colonial-era buildings. It’s also home to a wealth of art galleries, boutiques, and restaurants.

Cabo is an amazing place to go Whale watching as thousands of whales make their way from the artic to warmer waters where they can breed and give birth. Whales off the coast can be seen from December to April, and the best time to see them is during January and February. You can actually see humpback whales from the shore, but for almost guaranteed sightings in the winter you can take a boat tour from the marina.

Cabo is a world-renowned destination for sport fishing so if you are ever going to go deep-sea fishing, this is the place to do it. The clear blue waters and abundant sea life make it an ideal spot to catch marlin, sailfish, tuna, and other game fish.

The waters here are some of the deepest in the area, making them perfect for trolling or bottom fishing. And because there is so much variety in the fish that can be caught, deep-sea fishing in Cabo is perfect for both amateurs and experts.

There are several reputable charter companies that can take you out to the best spots. While there are some seasons where different types of fish show up, you can plan on catching something year-round. Be prepared to work a bit for your catch. You might have to do a fair amount of maneuvering in order to snag the big one!
